The college place is on the boundary of Deolali Camp and Bhagur. Deolali Camp is one of the oldest Indian Military Centers in the country, started the Air Force Station, the School of Artillery of the Indian Army, and other establishments in this region. Deolali has plenty of temples and tourist destinations.
This army base, originally a British Military Camp was constructed in 1869as a main depot for the arrival and departure of troops and families by ships from England to India & India to England. In order to keep the Mumbai port decongested “Deolali Gaon” which enjoy a salubrious climate throughout the year was selected as a “rest camp” as it was 200kms away but in close proximity to Mumbai. The name “Deolali” is a derivation from the Marathi words “Devla”(Temples) and “Ali”(Come) literally meaning temple have come, Pilgrims visiting Nasik first sighted the temples from here.
Around the town, It is also a town with various health sanatoriums and temples, including the Muktidham temple at Nashik Road. The town is also famous for caves, popularly known as Pandavleni Caves. The golf course, inside the Deolali Cantonment, was one of the largest in India at the time of its development by the British.
In 1967 the sangh swayansevak saw the dream of our own institution. Late Madhukar Anna Joshi, late Bhau Govilker, late Keshavrao Deshpande, Mr. E. S. Shete, Mr. R. M. Ambekar these dignitaries come together to raise an educational institution. All the founder members were motivated by patriotism. They worked hard expensing their own to set up educational institution for nationalism. They planted a plant and today it has taken a great shape of a big tree. Five thousand students are learning in the institution and 300 staff is serving.
